North & Clay started on a single pottery wheel in a converted garage outside Boston. Today our small studio team still throws, trims, glazes, and fires every piece by hand, in original shapes and glaze patterns we developed ourselves.
We believe good tableware should feel like it was made by someone, not stamped out by a factory chasing a trend. That's why we keep our catalog small, our runs limited, and our designs entirely our own.
